  • 5 times more likely to say they enjoy participating in their classes
  • 5 times more likely to say they learn new things that are interesting to them at school
  • 4 times more likely to say they push themselves to do beeter academically
  • 4 times more likely to feel they work hard to reach their goals
  • 4 times more likely to say they put forth their best effort at school

…than students who do not say their teachers believe in them and expect success.
