SEL Fact of the Week, 3/20

“The moment students enter a classroom their Curiosity & Creativity should be thought of as an intelligence that needs to be cultivated, challenged, and nurtured. To exercise students’ curiosity, pedagogy must include questions, conceptual conflicts, debates, and open-ended prompts. Curiosity can be exercised by having student predict story lines, follow news stories, or simply learn about something totally new.”
