  • 6 times more likely to feel teaches believe in them and expect them to be successful
  • 6 times more likely to agree teaches encourage students to make decisions
  • 5 times more likely to believe teachers respect students
  • 5 times more likely to think teaches recognize them when they do their best
  • 5 times more likely to think teaches enjoy working with students
  • 5 times more likely to report that they learn new things that are interesting to them at school
  • 5 times more likely to believe school is preparing them well for their futures
  • 3 times more likely to say they put forth their best efforts at school

…than students who do not agree that they are encouraged to be creative in school.
