  • 11 times more likely to believe getting good grades is important
  • 7 times more likely to think it is important to set high goals
  • 5 times more likely to say they put forth their best effort at school
  • 5 times more likely to believe they push themselves to do better academically
  • 5 times more likely to say they work hard to reach their goals
  • 5 times more likely to say they are excited about their futures

…than students who do not agree that they see a future benefit to being in school.
